Looking a picture, particularly like her head and eye, and of lovely type. Deep with good rib, nicely balanced and pleasing in outline. Full of coat and blooming in her veteran years, moved steadily and with purpose. Pleased to award her best veteran – a credit to her owner.
2nd: 7070 YOUNG Mrs E A Shipden Panama Hattie At Shelcasrie
Nicely marked bitch with a beautiful dark eye and a pretty head. Looking good for her age and enjoying her day out.

Sweet feminine l/w/t baby who showed a lovely flowing outline with good angles fore and especially aft, okay for bone, good straight front with neat feet, nice width to quarters. Short hocks, well let down. Tail set on well and carried nicely on the move. Won this class with her stronger forechest and very pleasing balanced head. Moved well when settled. BPB
2nd: 6991 BULLOCK, Mr J E & LEWIS Mr D M Trimere Total Obsession With Trixhund
Litter sister to 1 and similar in many ways. Preferred the substance and bone on this puppy who was also well made with a lovely flow of neck into good shoulders, better in depth than 1, same decent width to the quarters, tidy neat feet. Moved very soundly. Beautifully handled and presented – these two will surely change places in the future.

Prettiest and most feminine of heads with a good eye shape and colour, nice flow of neck into good shoulders, deep enough for a puppy with a good spring of rib, balanced body and good bone, super straight front, and super feet. If I could tweak anything it would be to have wider quarters with a little more rear angulation. Tail set on well and sound as you like on the move.
2nd: 7040 SHOVEL Mr M. J & Mrs J.V Tiverstone Magnolia Gold
b/w another promising well made puppy. Deep through the body with a nice spring of rib. Pleasing in outline with good front assembly and rear angulation that I preferred over 1, although sound on the move just a little less sparkle than winner which was the deciding factor.

Right up my street for type and style. Love her head which has a lovely deep flew, balanced skull and plenty of work. Dark eye of good shape. Good neck length into superior front assembly, terrific angle and length to her upper arm – shoulder angle to match. Rear angles match the front. Super feet, well off for bone. Good tail set and very sound and stylish on the move. To nitpick i would like to see more depth through the body and more fill in body behind the elbow – but time is on her side for this to develop.
2nd: 7035 SAVELL Ms C P Petranella Ruby Tuesday
very different type of bitch to winner, sound, honest and well made through the body with good ribs, best of feet, would just like a little more leg length to balance the picture.

like the balance of this bitch, good through the body with depth and substance, ample forechest, well off for bone, tidy feet, nicely angled quarters. Pretty head with a super dark eye. Moved soundly.
2nd: 7018 HUGHES, Mr J & Mrs M & HUGHES, Miss A & HUGHES Mi Celgarn Next Chapter
Has good substance and acceptable angles, moved steadily and soundly. Lacking in coat today which did not help the picture and feel she will be a better bitch as she matures. Very well handled and presented.

My surprise of the day. Have always liked this bitch but today I fell in love with her. Just right for me in type and style. Correct size of bitch with a feminine head showing a dark eye of good shape, deep in flew and the right proportion of muzzle to skull. Neck flowed into well angled shoulders, a handful of forechest and a palm’s width of upper arm which was well angled to complete a really decent front assembly. Strong straight front limbs and really tidy feet. Well off for bone. Deep enough through the body with well sprung ribs, balanced in length to height ratio. Tail perfectly set on to her chunky quarters and on to short hocks. She was exuberant on the move but was perfectly sound and showed good reach and drive in profile. Smartly presented. She drew me to her with her overall quality in the challenge to take the BCC.
2nd: 7017 HOLT Ms K & Miss B Trimere Tranquiliser at Bethryn
Elegant bitch in very well presented full coat. Super head with a dark eye and melting expression. Okay for bone. Pleasing depth and spring to ribs, well angled hind quarters. Flowed round the ring and was very well handled. Unlucky to meet one on such good form. She beat a top quality and well presented:

Another bitch of top quality as was the bitch placed second and they were hard to separate. I would call the winner an honest bitch. Nothing flashy but she is just so good to go over. Strong front with super forechest, excellent angles, good bone, straight limbs and the neat feet you have gathered by now i find so important. Deep in body and well sprung. Pleasing rear angulation with good width to her thigh and good hock length. Her head is classic, beautifully balanced, good depth of flew and width to muzzle – dark expressive eyes and so feminine. Her maternal duties still showing in her breadth of beam but she was in fab condition – RCC.
2nd: 7025 MITCHELL Mr & Mrs D Peasblossom Aria
Ultra feminine lovely sized bitch. Loved her for her style, make and shape, good in angles,– nothing overdone. Good in front with straight well boned limbs and tidy neat feet. Correct in depth and substance through her shapely body. Not carrying the best coat today but her quality shone through. Move soundly and stylishly.

I think I was overheard to exclaim “Lordy, Lordy!” as I assessed this class. It was a very mixed bag of mostly beautiful bitches and a challenge to judge. I would have been happy to take any of the first four home with me.
1st: 7036 SAVELL Ms C P Sh Ch Petranella Perfickly Delt JW Sh.CM
a new handler today and she showed her beautifully. Out of a bigger mould than some of my other winners, but that said I found this bitch hard to fault, very pleasing head with one of the best eyes/expressions all day. Good length of neck into well angled shoulders, and especially good for upper arm angle and length, plenty of substance through the body and moderate angles behind. Just right for bone and again those super feet. She moved very soundly but just lacked the sparkle I was looking for in the challenge.
2nd: 7000 CORBETT Mrs A E Trimere Tantrums And Tiaras
Super bitch for type and size. Very sound on the move. Best of fronts, good depth, well ribbed and pleasing rear angulation. Loved her balanced head with her kind dark eye. On another day she could have been my winner but just lacks a little for finish at the moment, that said she is a quality piece and her day must surely come.
