Class 1849 VD (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 6275 WILLIAMS, Mrs J & TOUBLIC Mrs D Cobhay Sweet William Sh.CM
a super 10 year old l/w turned out in great condition. Loving the show ring this lad. Nice angulation throughout. Would prefer a more masculine head, but that said everything in proportion. A super mover.
2nd: 6278 ZANASI Mr M Mex Ch High Fly Della Giuliana
7year old l/w stood makes a super outline, just let himself down on the move today. Lovely head & eye, good spring of ribs well let down rear.

6mth old b/w with a lovely masculine head and dark eye. Excellent reach of neck, straight front with ample bone and good feet. Adequate front & rear angulations. Turned out in hard condition with a gleaming coat. Time is on his side and he has all the essentials for maturing into a nice young boy. Moved well.
2nd: 6230 KIRK, Mr & Mrs P & SM & KIRK Miss C Laceby Jack In The Box
7mth old b/w of nice type. A lovely head with kind expression. Super front makeup with good depth of body for age. Showing a little bit of nervousness today but with time should mature nicely. Turned out in good condition.

Class 1851 PD (4 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 6219 GLENDINNING Ms F Plaiglen Sea Of Stars
11mth old l/w/t of lovely type. A super masculine head with excellent fluting to the occiput and chiselling below the eye. Eyes a little light at this stage which detracts from the expression, but should darken with age. Balanced angulation in the forehand and the hindquarters. Stacked he makes a correct Springer outline, clean and free of exaggerations, which he maintained on the move, which won him the class and also Best Puppy.
2nd: 6260 TOPLISS Mrs T E Peasblossom Escape To Beresford
11mth old l/w of lovely proportions. Stacked he makes a great outline, head a little coarse for me, but nice dark eye with kind expression, excellent reach of neck into well placed shoulders. Good depth of chest and lovely spring of ribs. Super rear angulations with excellent muscle tone, the best of the day, well let down hindquarters. Excellent topline which he held beautifully on the move. Moved with purpose and drive.

l/w of a lovely ‘old type’ of Springer. Nothing exaggerated about this lad. A masculine head and kind dark eye. Everything in the right place from his forehand angulations, compact well developed body to his well let down hindlegs. Has to be handled to be appreciated. Should have a bright future will watch him with interest.

Class 1854 LD (8 Entries) Abs: 2

1st: 6227 JACKSON Mr & Mrs R Mompesson Striker
l/w dog who demanded my attention on entering the ring. Judged him as a youngest and he has come on beautifully. A dog of lovely type and one that I would describe as an ‘honest dog’. Nothing overdone about this lad. Stacked he oozes breed type, from the typical Springer head with moderate stop, excellent chiselling below the eyes and soft kind dark almond shaped eyes without a hint of coarseness. To his excellent reach of neck, lovely straight front legs into excellent front assembly. Ample bone with correct compact well rounded feet. Well developed body of correct proportions and coupling. Superb well muscled and well let down hindquarters. Lovely level topline which he held beautifully on the move. Turned out in lovely coat & condition which completed the picture for me. Moving he has typical Springer gait, forelegs swinging straight from the shoulder, a joy to watch. I was pleased to award him his first CC and one of many I am sure. Pushed hard for BOB.
2nd: 6262 TOPLISS Mrs T E Petranella Perfick Choice for Beresford
l/w of nice type. A super head with correct eye shape and colour just would prefer a little more work below the eyes. Good lay back of shoulder and straight front. Good spring of ribs, body longer cast than 1st but just need to mature but time is on his side. Well muscled hindquarters. Turned out in lovely coat & condition. Moved effortlessly around the ring.

1st: 6205 CORBETT Mrs A E Sh Ch Trimere Thriller
well known l/w of excellent proportions. I handled this young lad as a baby and he has come on a treat. Stacked he makes a superb outline with a lovely head with plenty of work, kind eye. Excellent reach of neck into excellent front makeup. Excellent bone and well rounded feet. Correct length of body, good spring of ribs, just lacking a bit of weight and substance today. Well angulated rear. Level topline which he held on the move. Moved with excellent rear drive. Shown in lovely coat. Still only a young lad and once at full maturity will have more to come I am sure. RCC
2nd: 6215 EYEINGTON Mr & Mrs S Trinitas Newky Brown Of Meadowdale JW Sh.CM
judged this boy as a youngster and he has matured into a lovely dog. Good head of correct proportions would prefer him to be a little more masculine if being picky, kind dark eye and expression, excellent reach of neck into well placed shoulders. Lovely bone and substance throughout. Excellent depth of body with good spring of ribs, longer cast than 1st. Great well muscled rear angulations. Shown in beautiful coat & condition. Moved around the ring with great style.
