Stood alone, but still a worthy winner
1st: MORGAN Kessmari Penny Lane Jw. What a sweetie, ultra feminine 7 y/o L&W. Well balanced head with correct fluting. Nice eye shape and colour. Not the longest of necks, but shoulder placement OK. Level top line, well ribbed up, good muscle tone and nicely angulated rear. Still enthusiastic on the move with a steady if not dynamic stride. In good coat and condition. Best Veteran.

Baby babies, I loved this class!
1st: MCCOURT Woodspa Eucalyptus just 6 months L&W who is balanced and well angulated. Pretty feminine head, a bit tight on flew, however gorgeous expression with good eye shape and colour. Nice length of neck into good shoulders and upper arm. Nicely boned with tight feet. Well ribbed for age and short coupled. Level top line which she maintained throughout. Gorgeous bum and rear angulation. In good coat and condition for one so young. Positive mover, loved her attitude. As with all babies they will change dramatically over the next 6 months, let’s hope she maintains her quality on today’s showing.
2nd: ISON & MCDONALD Beresford Hot'n'bothered With Amandian. A different type, slightly larger framed and rangy. Still had a lot to like. Well balanced head with kind eye. Good neck, shoulders and body. Not quite the coat of 1 and not quite as positive on the move. She is a little more forward than third, who’s a gorgeous little baby!

Another super class to judge, very tight between the first three.
1st: SMITH Melverly Rihanna 10 months L&W, super size and shape. Very girlie head, beautiful eye, fluting and chiselling. Lovely neck into the best of shoulders, legs and feet. Wonderful ribs and coupling. Good top line, not too keen on tail set. Moderate angulation with the lowest of hocks. Gleaming coat. Moved well enough in the class but lost out to dog puppy in challenge who was more positive on the move.
2nd: JACKSON Mompesson Paper 'n' Lace. Lightly marked L&W 11 months, shade larger than 1 but still feminine. Balanced head and good eye, neck, shoulders. Angulation both fore and aft correct, not quite the body of winner. A sound mover with excellent stride length.

Another class of gleaming exhibits, really splitting hairs here, first four at different stages of development, patience will be the name of the game.
1st: ROSE Rosannoch Carnelian. L&W just over 12 months. Beautiful…What else can I say? Really feminine throughout. She is just one big moderate curve, nothing overdone. Gorgeous head and expression, lovely dark eye. Good neck, shoulders and front assembly. Super ribs both deep and long. Wonderful fat bum and broad thighs. In tip top condition. Moved with reach and drive. Just a tad too much rear angulation for me as seen on the free stand, but that’s being spiteful!
2nd: EYEINGTON Meadowdale Gin Sling. L&W another nice type at just over a year old. Lovely head into strong neck, level top line. She has good angulation with excellent ribs and waist. She can match the winner in muscle tone and condition. Just not as collected on the move as winner.

A big class with enough quality, loved my first 5, what a shame there are just not enough red cards to go round.
1st: CORBETT Trimere Tantrums And Tiaras, Super quality L&W who is feminine throughout. Loved her when she first appeared in the ring, she is so well balanced, a beautiful make and shape. Gorgeous head, such a kind expression. Lovely shaped neck into quality shoulders. Good bone and tight feet. Her body still has more to do in maturity, but it won’t be long before she steps up to the plate. She has a wonderful tail set and rear angulation. A sound mover, to be honest I preferred the movement of 2, however I could not go past her overall quality. She competed strongly in the challenge, however lost out to the super condition of my CC winner.
2nd: BROUGH & WALKER Riselawroad Blue Braid, What a shame to meet the winner, as the decision was so close. I loved the movement of this girly. She has a terrific stride and covers a lot of ground with such little effort. However one swallow doesn’t make a summer and I was just seeking a little more from her. She is a different make and shape, but still with all the breed attributes. I had her down as the class winner after I saw her move. But on final inspection she had to give way, just lacking the compactness and overall balance of the winner, although she matched her everywhere else.

Well what a surprise! Didn’t think the winner of this class would perform so well in the challenge. She did and looked an absolute picture!
1st: BASHFORTH Alenea Charade Of Jorobaden. This exhibit grew on me the more I watched her. She has natural balance and grace. The first impression is just how fit she is. Not an ounce of wasted flesh. She is feminine, balanced and beautiful. Her head is gorgeous, soft melting and kind, a real sweet expression. Her neck is strong and muscled leading into correct shoulders. Just the right amount of bone and such neat, tight feet. She is correctly balanced, good deep ribs with a slight rise over the loin, excellent muscle tone and moderately angulated rear. There is nothing about her that is out of place. She is super fit, this is where she excelled in the challenge. She is spot on for coat. Her movement is collected and balanced, sound both front and rear. Perhaps she is not as flashy as some, however she has all the breed fundamentals and looked as though she could endure. I was thrilled to award her the CC.

In the challenge for BOB the Dog had a different top line, this is where I preferred the bitch, however the Dog had more natural flair and the better stride.

2nd: SAVELL Petranella Perfickly Delt JW Sh.CM. Slightly longer cast L&W. Super head shape and make. Good bone and feet. Correct weight, in good fit condition. She wasn’t quite up to the challenge on the move, although sound, the winner had better reach. She is in good coat and safe hands with a very experienced handler getting the most out of this really pretty girly. She was giving too much away to the open winner that I didn’t ask her to reappear in the challenge.

A class full of quality.
1st: CALVERT & CHANDLER Calvdale Litigant JW. Gorgeous L&W bitch who is well put down. Girly head, balanced and refined. Strong neck, excellent front, legs and feet. Good ribs and coupling, level topline and the strongest of thighs. She is very fit which showed on the move, balanced and controlled. Her coat and condition was excellent. She competed blow for blow in the challenge, I just considered the CC winner to be better balanced. Very pleased to award her RES CC
2nd: SMITH Taimere's The Songthrush At Melverly What can I say. I love this bitch to death, but today she was just not fit enough and I can only judge what I see on the day. She has such a feminine head, a real sweetie. It’s the balance and quality throughout that makes her so attractive. She has all the structural requirements, her angles are correct. She has the best of ribs and topline. I still want to take her home. Apologies to the rest in this class, as you can see I’m still very much in love!
