'A fabulous quality entry. I last judged in 2006 and the improvement in quality is staggering. Eyes are darker, necks have lengthened, size is correct. I really want to be back exhibiting in this breed, but know I will need something special to compete against you guys. Presentation was either perfection or garden shears, little in between!'

1st CALVDALE KNOWN ASSOCIATE (MR & MRS M O CALVERT)
Old fashioned springs to mind, in all the best ways, lovely melting expression, but all boy, so deep with excellent bone and perfect feet, a perfect size, well balanced and moved well.
2nd DEXBENELLA OLLIE MAGERN (MR S & MRS W WALKER)
Another fabulous baby, a little less cobby than one, but not in any way a criticism, great bone and well let down sporting the most glorious head and expression. Moved well.
3rd CHELMERESS PETER PAN AT INTHOR (MR G & MRS S C THORNHILL)

1st GAOLACHCARA OGHMA (MR & MRS STEVENSON)
I so like this puppy dog, he had excellent eye colour, a beautiful neck and shoulder, deep with a nice bend of stifle, moved really well with drive for one so young. Faultless presentation.
2nd MEADOWDALE ALABAMA SLAMMER AT AEREGATE (MISS J TRACZ)
Once settled this youngster moved really well. Another nice baby similar comments apply, but could benefit, like many of us from a little weight loss!!
3rd ANACAPA PIPERS SONG FOR TINGVELLE (MRS H MERRY)

JUNIOR - Dog Entries: 7 Absentees: 1

1st PEASBLOSSOM CHANCE JW (MR & MRS D MITCHELL)
I considered this boy for the RCC, he moved really well, glorious dark eye and melting expression, deep and well angulated stifle, a very elegant dog. This boy really had presence and owned the ring on the move.
2nd PETRANELLA PERFICKLY FRANK WITH DEXBENELLA (MR S & MRS W WALKER)
A dog of great quality and balance with nothing over done, he has the most beautiful head, not as mature as my winner but I am sure he will make top honours in time to come, will watch him with interest.

1st REUBENS TIME TRAVELLER (MRS M L GLASS)
Not bad at all perhaps a little more substance would be good and a good few hours in the hairdressers would give him te edge. Moved well when settled.
2nd CHARLIE BROWN HOT CHOCOLATE (MRS J MAY)
Charlie could do with a little more coat, but this did not detract from him enjoying his day out. He was shown in the hardest of conditions.

GRADUATE - Dog Entries: 5 Absentees: 2

1st PETRANELLA PERFICKLY FRANK WITH DEXBENELLA (MR S & MRS W WALKER)
2nd in a very good junior class.
2nd CHERISHYM BRIGHT KNIGHT (MR P & MRS Y RICHARDSON & TERRY-RICHARDSON)
This boy is very sound to go over, he really lost out on sustance to the winner and was not as happy on the move, I think he is one for the future and will just improve with age.
3rd TRYHARD TEMPEST AT FREEWAY (MR & MRS J M LILLIE)

POST GRADUATE - Dog Entries: 10 Absentees: 1

1st CEPEN CHANGING PLACES WITH WATERSWARREN JW (MR P D & MRS V L WARRENER)
I think this do is probably one of the most well-constructed Springers I have been over, however, his head is not really my line, he won the class on conformation and excellent movement.
2nd ROQFOLLY AFTERSHOCK AT FEORLIG (MISS K F MILLER)
Very close decision I think a little more coat would have tipped the balance, moved well as always from this excellent handler. He has a most beautiful head. Maturity I believe will ensure top honours.

1st TRIMERE THRILLER (MRS A & MISS M CORBETT & SPAVIN)
What a lovely young dog, nice broad deep muzzle breaking over gentle expression, a lovely balanced head. good length of neck leading into well placed shoulders with well-sprung ribs and well let down, put down to perfection as one expects from this top producer. Both first and secdon moved really well and there was little to divide them here.
2nd ALANEA WARRIOR OF JOROBADEN (MRS L BASHFORTH)
Slightly heavier in head than winner but still a very handsome dog with beautiful flowing lines, good depth, a nice sqquare dog who used his strong hind quarters to benefit on the move. Not the coat and finish of the winner at present.
3rd TRINITAS NEWKY BROWN OF MEADOWDALE JW SHCM (MR S & MRS J EYEINGTON)

1st SH CH TRIMERE TALKING POINT OF ALLENIE JW (MR A C & MR R P ALLEN & BOTT)
Well not really sure what to say, but like many a fine wine they can improve with age! This boy is not exaggerated in any way, a soft compact body with good angulation and well rounded rear. He just flowed on the move a vision to watch. A very worthy Champion I was delighted to award him the Dog CC.
2nd CALVDALE BLAK TO THE FUTURE (MR & MRS M O CALVERT)
A dog that I have admired since I first judged him, very similar in size and body shape to my winner, with one of the most glorious Springer heads. He was not very happy on the move in the class today, but when called back to challenge he was more settled.
