ESSC of Scotland Championship Show

'This show is renowned for their warm welcome and fabulous catering by the hard working committee and this year was no exception. It was a pleasure to judge this well run show.'

1st Calverts' Sh Ch Calvdale Softly Softly JW
looking in absolutely super condition that belies his age. Excellent confirmation, lovely balanced outline, moved soundly and positively round the ring.
2nd Scotts' Lossidoon Scarrabus
lovely gent of 10yrs with plenty of spirit giving his handler a hardtime, masculine head without coarseness, good depth of brisket with well sprung rib, excellent bone and substance.

1st Long & Leemings' Tryhard Pioneer
attractive youngster with lovely substance for age. Really liked his head and eye shape, colour will darken with age. Good length of neck and well laid shoulders, moved confidently round the ring. Presentation was excellent
2nd Glendinnings' Plaiglen Hustle
very raw at the moment but good overall shape, time will be his friend.

1st Houses' Gleadsbury Judicial Review
compact youngster with plenty of substance and depth. Good shoulder placement, level topline, lovely legs and feet. Good width in front and moved soundly round the ring. BPD
2nd Donaldsons' Donarden Marauder
up to size but plenty to like about this l/w tri, reachy neck and well placed shoulders. Movement very loose but has time on his side.
3rd Logan' Donarden Explorer for Invercharnan

1st Topliss' Peasblossom Escape to Beresford
an outstanding youngster with a promising future who looks terrific both standing and on the move. His head is typical of his Swedish breeding, a little long in foreface but balanced. Strong reachy neck and great shoulder placement, well developed quarters with good second thigh enabling him to move with drive.
2nd Glendinnings' Plaiglen Sea Of Stars
not quite the maturity of 1 but full of quality and type. Really attractive head. Well made throughout. In excellent coat and condition.
3rd Calverts' Calvdale Allegedly
4th Houses' Gleadsbury Judicial Review
5th Kemps' Laceby Jack In The Box

1st Nicolsons' Lochindorb Chief O' The Clan
Nice size dog with masculine head, lovely length of neck, correct shoulder assembly and well developed forechest, muscular rear quarters which he put to use on the move. Needs to drop a little under loin but has plenty of time to finish.
2nd Calverts' Calvdale Smooth Criminal
just not quite together at the moment as his head needs time to catch up with his well developed body. Pristine condition.
3rd Lintons' Rosannoch Ansuz

1st Kemps' Laceby Jack In The Box
b/w dog with very nice head and soft expression, short and compact in body but lacking in a little bone.
2nd Glendinnings' Plaiglen Hustle

1st Honeymans' Lochindorb Coinneach Odhar at Beecraigs
gave his handler a hard time when stacking him, deep body with plenty of heart room, strong quarters and well off for bone, decent head but a touch more neck would improve the overall picture.
2nd Kemps' Laceby Jack In The Box
3rd Donaldsons' Donarden Marauder

1st Stevensons' Gaolachcara Somhlth
Plenty of bone and substance to this boy. Pleasing head, good length of neck and clean in shoulders. Moved well round the ring holding his firm topline. Shown in excellent bloom.

another nice young dog in excellent coat and condition. Good conformation throughout just a touch broad in back skull for me.
3rd Larges' Mompesson Flawless is Madaza
4th Nicolsons' Lochindorb Clansman

a dog in his prime, I couldn’t take my eyes off him as he exudes such style and quality but it’s when he moves that you fully appreciate his beauty. Pleased to award him the dog CC and BIS.
