Judge: RITA THOMSON

Thanking the Secretary and Committee for my invitation to judge and also thanks to my very efficient stewards. I would also like to thank everyone for their entries, despite a number of absentees.

PD (2, 1) 1 Havard’s Trimere Ted Bakier With Annavah.16 mths old youngster, a rather nice l/w head well proportioned, masculine, nice shaped dark eye, proper Springer expression, strong muscular neck,  fairly well sprung ribs, deep chest, very well boned, muscled quarters, very well presented, took time to settle, watching his handler on the move, yet settled enough to see correct movement. Could be an interesting dog to look out for when older.

PGD (5, 4) 1 Clarke’s Fernspringer Band Man At Reulemill. Again stood alone in this class. Another l/w, 4 yr old, head good proportions, eye correct shape with gentle Springer expression, lengthy neck, very well boned, straight front legs onto good compact feet, well sprung ribcage, good movement, good topline, enjoying his day out.

OD (8, 4) A qualitu class throughout. 1 Such’s Trimere Ticks The Box At Mujascal ShCM. A 4 yr old l/w male, certainly aptly named, ticked the box for me. Preferred head of this male, well proportioned, eye shape, colour correct, muscular neck into laid shoulders, good length to ears, well sprung ribcage, deep chest, strong muscled throughout, quarters which he uses on the move, holding his topling. BD and eventually BOB.

2 Happs’ Clentonion Solomoms Seal. Another 4 yr old male, not as mature in head, still much to like, a bit taller, longer cast than winner, strong, muscular quarters which he used well on the move.

3 Akerboom & Van Der Schaaf’s Sh Ch/NL Ch Trimere Total Mahem utch Jun Ch JWW15.

VD (1) 1 Barnett’s Glenbrows Had To Be. A very youthful, attractive 7 yr old male, very well proportioned head, correct eye shape and colour, good neck length, strong well boned front legs onto tight feet, correct depth to chest, ribs well sprung, strong body, muscular throughout, hind legs well let down, movement like a Springer shoulder, in good hard condition, couldn’t deny this male Res BD.

PB (3, 2) 1 House’s Gleadsbury Dynamite. 11 mths old, liver and white, young attractive bitch, kind expression, good head/skull, medium length, more room to develop a little bit more, correct eye shape, colour to darken slightly, well boned throughout, straight forealegs, good tight compact feet, chest deep, developing very well, hind legs let down, movement, enough drive. Was Best PB and BP.

JB (3, 2) 1 Corbett’s Trimere Taylor Swift. A quality girl throughout, skull medium length, eyes correct shape, colour, ear placement correct, proper Springer expression, good reach of neck, forelegs well boned, straight, compact feet, good depth to chest, right through to quarters, movement, a typical Springer.

PGB (4, 2) 1 Reynolds’ Clentonian Picture Perfect. An eyecatcher in general much to like, another quality Springer, well proportioned head, almond eye, melting expression, ears correct, good reach of neck, short coupled, muscular throughout, correct Springer movement, level topline on the move. My Res BB.

2 Crouch’s Trimere Timeless With Kassan. A nice headed young lady. Not as mature as winner, still lots to like, slightly longer body, but needs to develop a bit more, like her balanced head, expression, reach of neck, shoulder placement, muscletone to improve, well boned, bit more spring of rib, muscular quarters, moved really well. On the day preferred the first.

OB (6, 4) 1 Corbett’s Sh Ch Trimere Ticket Maid. What a feminine beautiful Springer, quality throughout, yet not overdone, head well proportioned, gentle expression, ears correct placement, muscular neck continued into laid shoulders, depth to brisket, well sprung ribcage into strong muscular quarters, well boned, plus tight feet, hard condition, on the move a real showgirl, certainly uses the ring to advantage, very confident, showing her front reach and drive, topline, tail. My BB, eventually discovered my BOB Dog and BB to be brother and sister.

2 Hipgrave’s Ternspringer Jazz Singer. A well proportioned balanced head, length to ears, Springer expression, muscular neck into laid shoulders, slightly short of depth in brisket to winner, a bit longer bodied, a bit more feathering/coat would have complemented more. Still lots to like though, unlucky to meet winner here.

VB (2) 1 Such’s Ch/It Ch/Croat Ch Trimere Tough Cookie. Another good veteran, almost 8 yrs, well balanced head, muscular neck, shoulder placement, short coupled, good ribcage, well sprung, strong bone structure throughout, hind legs well let down, movement typical of breed. 2 Reynolds’ Mompesson Royal Flush. Another attractive lady, still lots to like, little between these two girls. Similar report except hind legs a bit more let down, preferred movement on winner here on the day.Junior - Dog
