NESSS October 2010 025

I thoroughly enjoyed my day and thank everyone for the flattering entry and for the superb atmosphere. Thanks also to the hard working committee for a show very well run. The weather meant that I had to judge indoors and although the ring was plenty big enough, I felt that it affected the movement of some and so on another day placings may have changed. However, one has to judge on the day and I was more than happy with my final line up’s. Males were stronger in quality today and there were some close decisions.

Veteran dog or Bitch 2 (1)
1 Ozanne Jsy Ch Trimere Tender Touch at Lyntonridge
7 year old l/w in excellent condition. Pretty head. Good for size and balanced outline. Has a decent front on her, good reach of neck and correct topline, Moved well, on the right track and has a lovely temperament.

MPD 1
1 Calverts Calvdale Allegedly
Very promising b/w of obvious quality. Only 6 months but already much of a piece. Superb coat and in excellent condition. Well off for bone and a decent head and expression. Stood he presents a pleasing, typical outline and is well angulated behind. On the move he put everything where it should and is particularly eye-catching in profile. I feel that he will be an asset to the colour. Liked him, BPIS

PD 3
1 Topliss' Peasblossom Escape to Beresford
Mature puppy who is decent for type and has a lovely head and expression. Scores particularly in hind angulation and he uses this well on the move. Just needs to finish in middle piece for the complete picture and today he was untidy in front.
2 Calverts' Calvdale Smooth Criminal
Smart youngster who stacked I thought would be my winner. Love him for type and is in excellent condition. However he threw all his chances away on the move but has a certain future I’m sure.
3 Glendinings' Plaiglen Sea of Stars

JD 6
1 Cokells' Trimere Transition to Carlyquinn
Beautiful dog for type and in superb condition. Stacked up he presents a fabulous shape, completely balanced and typical. His head is ok but he scores in expression. Moves very well and is eye-catching in profile. A titleholder with an average amount of luck and worthy of it he will be too. I liked him enormously and thought at one point he would be hard to beat. However, in the challenge his mind went elsewhere and he had to settle for RBD.
2 Larges' Mompesson Flawless
Looks better on the move and has everything in the right place. Not the expression of the winner but good for type and in excellent condition for body and coat.
3 Jenkinsons' Eastriding Armani Black
4 Joyces' Shelcasre Head Over Heals

YD 3
1 Houses' Gleadsbury Whatsisname
Mid teenage dog who scores on type. Decent head and expression. Well off for bone and well bodied. Moved well, particularly in profile, where he covers a lot of ground.
2 Joyces' Shelcasre Head Over Heals
Tri dog who is beautifully presented and a temperament to cherish. Has a lovely head and is balanced fore and aft. Would just like him a little shorter in loin for complete balance.
3 Drinkalls' Momprsson Tribute to Esscroft

 MD 1
1 Calverts Calvdale Allegedley

 ND 2
1 Calverts' Calvdale Smooth Criminal
2 Willeys' Speeton Sea Challenger
L/w dog in excellent condition. Presents a decent picture stacked but was erratic on the move especially coming and going.

GD 4
1 Houses' Gleadsbury Whatsisname
2 Larges' Mompesson Flawless
3 Happs' Beresford Beat The Clock with Emianna
4 Woolhouse' Cherisym Outlaw

 PGD 5
1 Happs Jorobaden Alderniti of Emianna
Lovely dog for type. Well balanced and a super head and expression. Moves very well up and back and is eye-catching in profile where he is typical and covers the ground.
2 Guy's Calvdale False Arrest
Impressive stacked and is good to go over. Presented well. Pleasing in head. Moved well when he put his mind to it.
3 Goodmans' Roqfolly Echo Beach
4 Thornhills' Chelmeress Peter Pan at Inthor

 LD 8 (2)
1 Topliss' Petranella Perfick Choice for Beresford
Liked this boy very much. He is fabulous for type and is super to go over. In excellent condition and completely balanced stacked. Great head and expression, good neck and good in front. On the move he is precise and in profile covers the ground and will always take the eye. Another who should be a titleholder.
2 Tracz' Meadowdale Alabama Slammer at Acregate Sh CM
Nice boy with the most lovely head and expression. Similar remarks apply and I liked him very much. Just a little wide at elbow today.
3 Warreners' Cepen Changing Places with Waterswarren JW
4 Bashforths' alanea Warrior of Jorobaden

 OD 2
1 Allen & Botts Sh Ch Trimere Talking Point of Allenie JW
Mature l/w who is bang on form. Presented to perfection and in the most fabulous condition. Lovely head and expression. Decent for neck and topline, well off for bone and well bodied. On the move he is effortless and very precise up and back. With this performance he could not be denied BD & BIS.
2 Guys' Calvdale John O'Connor
Slightly different in type but still with a hell of a lot to like. Beautifully presented and condition and another who moved well. Just not the front or feet of the winner.

SBD 3 (2)
1 Larges' Mompesson Flawless
2 Happs' Beresford Beat The Clock with Emianna
Heavier type with a decent head and expression. Very well presented and handled, presents a decent picture but would just prefer him better in front.

Minor Puppy Bitch 6 (1)
1st Warreners’ Waterswarren Whitewash
Very promising young lady who is lovely for type. Decent to go over with a very pretty head and expression. Well grown for her age and in excellent condition. When she finally put her mind to it, moved extremely well particularly up and back. Liked her and wish her well for the future. BPB
