MPB (4,1a)
1. Walker’s No Comment from Dexbenella (Imp)
not a good class but this 8 month flashy l/w was my best, she was well bodied with good sprung ribs, nice height but slightly long in back spoiling the balance. Pretty expression but little too round in skull, enough neck, backline level, nice depth of chest with good upper arm & front angles, nice bend of stifle, well coated, I would have liked her in cleaner condition. Moved well, body roll, needs to carry tail higher. RBPIS
2. Henson’s Jorobaden Leading Light
slightly smaller & more balanced in her build. Nice feminine head good eye shape & earset. Presented in flashy l/w/t coat with nice feathering, level topline, tail set bit low, good deep body, well boned legs & feet. Lacked in stifle. Moved out soundly but no real stride;
3. Hughes’ Celgarn Magdalena with Melkami

JB (6, 1a)
1. Weyman’s Spuffing Rioja
very attractive l/w, beautiful head shape, nice eye, well chiselled, good dentition, nice neck to shoulder, good back, nice tail. Good body, nice compact build, well ribbed with depth, good front depth, well angled, like her quarters. Super coat in nice condition. Well balanced, good boned legs & tight feet, really sound mover with drive
2. Eyeington’s Kingsheath Kaitlyn of Meadowdale
very attractive, well built & constructed bitch presented in a glossy well conditioned b/w coat with nice feathering. Well balanced feminine head, dark shaped eyes, well placed ears. Good body with depth & nice ribs. Straight boned legs, feet could be tighter, moved out well with good drive;

1. Whitley’s Plaiglen Florin
just 13 months & developing nicely in appearance but this bitch is hard to go over & is slightly nervous. A flashy b/w, slightly odd markings especially near her back feet but markings are not everything. Nice head shape to look at but difficult to go over, well bodied. Nice legs front & rear movement little difficult to assess

NB (2, 1a)
1. Taubman & West’s Meonstoke Cherry Blossom
placed 4th in the junior where she just put nothing into her movement. Nice head well developed & shaped, nice neck to topline, little short in back with nice body with depth, good angles front & rear, nice type, just thought her a little immature for her 14 months. Presented well in a nice flashy coat, moved out better here bit close behind & loose at front

3. Glass’ Riselawroad Miss Brodie

PGB (2)
1. Williams & Toublic’s Cobhay Dahlia
really nice outline with good balance, head just a little strong in skull, but has balance & is feminine, good eye shape & colour, good neck to shoulder, firm level topline & nice tail. Great body, well sprung ribs, has depth, presented in nice dark coat, well conditioned, nice feathering. Good front & rear, straight boned legs & tight round feet, moved out well enough, sound driving action
2. Parr’s Gunring Hold Out Your Hand for Ashring
nice build & balance, good head shape with chiselling, enough neck but looks stuffy because she has too much weight, good length of back & depth but her body condition let her down by carrying too much weight. Presented in l/w coat, presentation could be better as too much coat spoilt outline. Moved out OK & was sound but would be much better without the weight

LB (4, 3a)
1. McCourt’s Woodspa Royal Ascot
although standing alone this is an obvious winner in her own right, beautiful head shape, pretty expression, nice ears well set. Good neck, shoulders & backline over a good body, well ribbed with depth, presented in a nice darker marked l/w coat with feathering. Nice type & balance with good angles, lovely boned legs & tight feet moved out with correct breed movement & sound

OB (3, 1a)
1. Savell’s Petranella Gossip Girl JW
very impressive & a beautiful made up bitch, has for me nearly all the breed pointers & is lovely to go over. Has a lovely smart outline of good breed balance & such good type. Sweet well worked head, fraction domed, lovely eye shape & colour, good chiselling, firm topline, well sprung ribs, substance & depth, beautiful l/w coat with clean presentation. Out-moved my second but both have true throw at front & drive from strong hocks & so sound. BB & RBIS
2. Walker’s Dexbenella Inquisitress JW
another I liked very much & has a nice balanced outline, just spoiled by her topline which is firm but with too much slope. Super head, sweet expression, well set ears, body well developed with sprung ribs, short loin, body with substance, well angulated forequarters & stifle, well presented coat. Nice legs & feet has good throw & drive but is not as sound as 1 being closer at the rear. RBB

VB (2, 1a)
1. Williams & Toublic’s Cobhay Precious Polyantha
very impressive on the stance with a nice height to length, very well presented dark l/w coat, sweet head, keeping colour in dark eyes, well set ears, nice leathers, enough neck, firm straight level back, nice tail, good depth of chest with good front angles, lovely straight legs & tight feet, could be moved faster but well handled by a young handler, nice sound throw & hind drive. HANDLING CLASSES – Judge: CAROLE FURNESS
Firstly, I would like to thank all those who entered the handling classes.
Juniors (5, 1a)
1. Kaitlyn Nicholson
a young handler who did everything I asked of her; moved with the dog well with nice lines and listened carefully to my instructions.
2. Phoebe Toublic
another good handler, not far behind 1. Just needs a little more practice.
3. Owen Toublic
4. Tristan Savell
I would also like to mention Owen Toublic in 3rd and Tristan Savell in 4th both of whom, with practice, will make good junior handlers in the future.

Adults (3)
1. Jackie Weyman
straight lines in movement; listened to my instructions and was aware of my position at all times.
2. Liz Young
another excellent adult handler, just missed out this time on straight lines as showing a borrowed dog.
3. Bee Lancaster
