I would like to thank the Three Counties committee for the invitation to judge today and for their first class hospitality, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Also, to the exhibitors for entering their dogs, all of whom were well presented and coped well in the heat, although one or two of the handlers found it hard work!

Two nice boys headed this class and on another day, could easily change places
1st: 6986 BRENNAN Mrs K Trimere Turning Point At Kerrijoy
19 month liver tri boy, balanced masculine head with kind expression. Good width and depth to muzzle, eye of good shape and colour. Decent length of neck leading to well laid shoulders. Good depth to chest, ribs well sprung, short coupled, level topline. He is a little straight in stifle, but has good bone and feet. I loved his free and easy movement, really reaching in front and driving from behind - it was effortless. He is still in need of development, but won this place today on his super movement.
2nd: 6997 TRACZ Miss J J Melverly Desert Strike Over Acregate JW Sh.CM
Quality liver & white, which on first inspection I thought would be my winner today, he has a lovely masculine head with dark eye, and good muzzle. His neck is of good length, although I would prefer him a little cleaner in throat, he has good forechest, is well angled front and rear with good spring of rib. Loved him for his substance, and well boned legs and tight feet. On the move today, he just didn't seem to get it together which was a shame. Shown in gleaming coat as always from this exhibitor,

I was treated to two lovely boys in this class.
1st: 6988 COKELL Mrs H Carlyquinn Can't Wait JW Sh.CM
Classically marked liver & white, with well balanced, masculine head & lovely expression. Super length of neck leading to well laid shoulders. Lovely depth of body with good spring of rib giving plenty of heart and lung room . His hind quarters were solid and muscular, he has good rear angulation, well bent stifle and good width of thigh, with well boned legs and tight feet. He moved out well with reach and drive, pleased to award him BD BOB and to see him shortlisted in the group. Well done!
2nd: 6998 TRACZ Miss J J Sh Ch Meadowdale Alabama Slammer at Acregate Sh.CM
A worthy Sh Ch and one I have judged before and have no reason to change my opinion of him. He has a beautiful head, masculine all through with the darkest of eye, giving that soft, kind expression that I love. Good length of neck, deep chest with good spring to rib. He is well developed in forechest, straight front, good bone and feet. On the move today he was not quite as flowing as the winner, throwing his front out. However, I couldn't deny him Res BD.

Class 1543 PB (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 7000 YOUNG Mrs E A Canouan Jolly Holiday At Shelcasrie (Imp)
9 month old liver & white who is still raw and at that gangly stage in her development. She has a pretty head, decent length to neck - she needs to drop in body but she has time on her side. Her movement was steady and she was well presented.

Class 1544 JB (2 Entries) Abs: 0
I found these two girls very similar, just preferring the substance of one.
1st: 6989 COKELL Mrs H Carlyquinn Mama Mia
15mth old liver & white. Pretty feminine bitch with lovely head - eye still needing to darken, but doesn't detract from her expression, she has lovely depth of muzzle. Good length of neck into well laid shoulders. She is a touch long in body for my taste, but has decent depth to chest. She has substance but remains feminine, good bone and feet, she covered the ground well with her steady movement. RBB
2nd: 6995 SHOVEL Mr M J & Mrs J V Gertrude Jekyl At Tiverstone
Another pretty liver & white bitch, feminine balanced head with lovely dark eye, giving a soft expression. She has a decent length of neck, but is still needing to drop a tad in chest. Good front and rear angles enabling her to move steadily around the ring.

Class 1545 PGB (3 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 6996 SHOVEL Mr M J & Mrs J V Tiverstone Magnolia Gold
What can I say, I loved this beautiful, feminine, black & white bitch from the moment she placed her first paw in the ring! She is correct for size, compact and beautifully balanced. Her head is perhaps a touch stronger than I would like, but still remains feminine with the darkest of eyes and lovely expression. She has a super outline when stood and has substance, but remains all woman! She has a good length of neck and lovely angles front and rear, well developed chest, her ribs are well sprung and she has good bone and feet. Her movement was true both coming and going, but despite the best efforts of her handler, she decided today wasn't the day for tail carriage. Her black & white coat was gleaming in the sunshine. She couldn't be denied Best Bitch but in the challenge for BOB, had to give way to the Dog
