Celia Woodbridge was another stalwart and invaluable member of our society. Joining the Southern committee in August 1999, Celia became secretary a few months later in the April of 2000. In 2010 Celia took on production of the year book alongside Eve Whitley. Celia remained secretary for 15 years and after serving her time as our secretary she continued to work tirelessly on the committee, still being involved in the year book production, with Eve.

Celia could and would turn her hand to most things, and she certainly got things done.

Celia was also the breed note contributor on the Dog World Newspaper, which she continued on Facebook when the newspaper closed down. Her written articles were always interesting, entertaining and well worth a read.

There is an enormous hole now and we will all miss her greatly.

Definitely a one off with her zest for life and her involvement in all walks of life but was very special with her passion in the dog world.

Very proud wife, mother,and grandmother, who now leaves a wealth of memories for Robert and all the family.

Never one to give you a straight answer to a question without one of her stories which Celia had become quite famous for.

A sentence always turned into a novel. BUT I, certainly like many many others will miss these.

A phone call always lasting an hour instead of a minuet.

Celia was a true friend to many and always willing to help and get involved with anything..

I am finding words are not enough to say goodbye to you my friend Celia.

A promising dog puppy born on the 4th June 2025. He is now

9 weeks old and ready for his new home.

In the first instance I am looking for a family home but, he does have showring potential.

Puppies are all well grown and healthy.

Both parents are fully DNA tested clear, so puppies are hereditary clear for PRA (cord1), Fuco, DAMS, AMS and PFK.

Both Gonio 0 and both have this years current eyes both clear.

Sire "Melvin" is graded A (in Poland) for Hip Dysplasia

To our site, it has been given a fresher look, but is currently very much a work in progress, we will still be keeping it updated and current. We hope you will find our site useful and informative, please have a look around.

The late Graham Osborne stepped aside as our chairman due to his continued ill health, but he worked tirelessly to keep the old website going. He was a stalwart and possibly the backbone of our society, we are indebted to his input. He was the source of most of the data on the website, with his wealth of knowledge, understanding and love of the breed, leaving us a lasting legacy.

We hope this new website will do it and him justice.
